Commitment to Accessibility
Élan Aviation LLC is committed to providing a digital experience that supports access and participation for people with disabilities. We consider accessibility part of the design, development, content, and maintenance of elanaviation.com, including its general information and charter-inquiry pathways. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, and we expect to identify and address issues as the website and supporting services evolve.
Accessibility Goal
Our internal goal is to design and test the website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2 Level AA as a target. WCAG offers practical criteria for content that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust across different user needs and assistive technologies.
This statement is not a representation that every page or third-party service fully conforms, that the website has been formally certified, or that no accessibility issue exists. A formal independent audit has not been confirmed in the project materials reviewed for this statement.
Measures Taken
The legal and consent experiences currently include measures such as:
- semantic headings, landmarks, lists, links, buttons, form labels, and data-table headers;
- a skip link and anchored headings positioned below the sticky site header;
- keyboard-operable navigation and cookie controls with visible focus indicators;
- descriptive page titles, link text, image alternatives, and accessible names for icon-only controls;
- responsive layouts intended to reflow without page-level horizontal scrolling at narrow widths;
- high-contrast text and restrained use of color as a sole indicator;
- an accessible cookie dialog with programmatic labels, Escape handling, focus containment, and focus restoration;
- reduced-motion behavior tied to the visitor’s operating-system preference; and
- form labels and error-message patterns within the site’s longer quote experience.
These measures describe implemented design and code patterns, not a guarantee that every combination of browser, assistive technology, and content will behave without difficulty. Ongoing testing and remediation remain necessary.
Known Limitations
No specific verified accessibility defect is listed in the current project configuration. That does not mean none exists. The site may also link to weather, airport, regulatory, mapping, carrier, or other third-party content whose design and accessibility are outside Élan Aviation’s control.
When a limitation is confirmed, maintainers should add an accurate description, affected feature, available workaround, and remediation status to the centralized accessibility configuration. We invite reports that help us identify practical barriers rather than relying only on automated checks.
Feedback and Assistance
If you encounter a barrier or need assistance accessing information or submitting a charter inquiry, email us. Helpful details include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, the difficulty encountered, your browser and assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing them, and your preferred contact method. Please do not send medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information.
We will make reasonable efforts to understand the issue and, where practical, provide the information or requested service through an alternative method while the issue is evaluated.
Élan Aviation LLC
Accessibility feedback and assistance requests
legal@elanaviation.comResponse Goal
Élan Aviation aims to acknowledge and respond to accessibility communications promptly and within a reasonable period, taking into account the request’s nature, available information, technical complexity, and any coordination required. We do not promise a fixed resolution date, but we may follow up for details and will seek to communicate available next steps or alternatives.
Third-Party Content
Some website information or requested services may depend on third parties, including licensed direct air carriers, airports, fixed-base operators, weather sources, or linked websites. Élan Aviation does not control those parties’ interfaces. We encourage third parties to provide accessible experiences and will consider accessibility when selecting and reviewing services where reasonably possible, but their own statements and support processes govern their content.
Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility work continues as content, forms, devices, browser behavior, and standards change. Élan Aviation intends to incorporate accessibility review into meaningful design and code changes, combine automated checks with manual keyboard and assistive-technology testing where practical, and prioritize issues based on user impact. Feedback from people using the site is an important part of that process.
